Fort Mitchell families sending students back to Beechwood Independent Schools on Wednesday, August 19, will pay $7 more per year for the technology fee that puts a Chromebook in every secondary student's hands.
Superintendent Justin Kaiser's administration posted the full 2026-27 fee schedules to the district website by Wednesday, July 29, covering course fees across every department and activity fees for extracurriculars. Kaiser, a 1998 Beechwood High School graduate and the first alumnus to lead the district, oversees a system where the technology fee for grades 7-12 rises from $85 to $92, an 8.2% increase. Students keep the Chromebook at the end of 12th grade.
As we reported July 21, the district added a financial literacy graduation requirement for the Class of 2029. The new fee documents cover every course families will encounter when registering.
