Fort Mitchell City Council passed the "Walk your Wheels" e-bike and e-scooter rule on second reading Oct. 12, requiring riders to dismount on Beechwood Road sidewalks during school hours, and Mayor Greg Pohlgeers says he plans to expand the restrictions to other high-traffic corridors citywide.

Beechwood High School's Marching Tigers earned Grand Champion honors at the 55th annual Northern Kentucky Marching Band Festival, topping a 16-band field from Kentucky and Ohio at Campbell County High School.

A new federal scholarship tax credit program takes effect Jan. 1, 2027, allowing donors in Kentucky and at least 29 other states to fund K-12 scholarships for private school tuition, homeschooling, tutoring and special education costs that could benefit NKY families.
