Fall Fest is coming back to Lou Hartfiel Memorial Park this September, bringing food trucks, live music, and fireworks to the shared green space between Villa Hills and Crescent Springs.

The City of Villa Hills posted a 2026 Fall Fest flyer on its official website on July 27, signaling that planning is underway. City Clerk Jennifer Lipson published the announcement under the Events and News section at villahillsky.org, though the city has not yet posted a full schedule of activities in text form.

At the February 18 Villa Hills Special Council Meeting, student mayor Addison Warken relayed the city's 2026 events calendar and said Fall Fest is planned for September 19, from 5 to 9 p.m., with a band and a variety of food trucks. That date has not been independently confirmed on the website, so residents should watch villahillsky.org for updates.

Fall Fest is a joint effort between the Villa Hills Events and Beautification Committee and the City of Crescent Springs, held each year at Lou Hartfiel Memorial Park.

The celebration has been a neighborhood fixture for years. In past editions, activities have included children's games, pumpkin decorating, face painting, a beer garden, live music, and fireworks. At the October 18, 2023, council meeting, Councilmember Sue Wadsworth reported that the 2023 Fall Fest "ran out of pumpkins, and also only had a couple sets of tickets left from the 300 sets that were prepared."

The 2024 event was cancelled due to weather.

The two cities split the pumpkins that year, and Villa Hills donated its share to River Ridge Elementary.
