A person died Tuesday after a truck and SUV collided at the intersection of Turkeyfoot Road and Colony Drive in Edgewood, according to WLWT, which updated its initial report to describe the crash as "deadly" and noted one person was "pronounced deceased."
The crash occurred around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28. Both vehicles sustained serious damage, and at least one person was airlifted by medical helicopter to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, a Level I trauma center across the Ohio River in Cincinnati.
The Kenton County Police Department is investigating. A KCPD van was visible at the scene in photos published by WLWT.
The cause is unknown.
