St. Henry's freshman volleyball team finished runner-up at the Beechwood Freshman Tournament in Fort Mitchell on Sept. 12.

St. Henry Athletics announced the result on X after the tournament wrapped. The event, hosted by Beechwood High School, featured pool play and bracket competition among freshman squads from across Northern Kentucky.

The runner-up finish follows a pair of earlier tournament results for the Crusaders' freshman class this fall. On Aug. 29, St. Henry won the Colonel Cup Invitational, beating Conner in the finals and dropping only one set all day. On Aug. 22, the freshmen went 4-1 at the Ryle Tournament.

St. Henry's varsity squad also picked up a win last week, sweeping Dixie Heights in district play on Sept. 11.
