Four Northern Kentucky leaders will be recognized for their community impact when the NKY Chamber of Commerce hosts its 2026 Leadership Alumni Awards Luncheon on August 27 at Receptions Banquet and Conference Center – South.

The Fort Mitchell-based Chamber announced the honorees in June and opened registration for the event, which runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person, $35 for Northern Kentucky Young Professionals members, or $400 for a table of 10. Parking is free. Proceeds support scholarship funding for the Chamber's leadership programs.

The honorees

  • Nancy Grayson, of Horizon Community Foundation and a graduate of Leadership NKY's Class of 2009, will receive the Ruth A. Eger Leader of Distinction Award. The award, named for a former program director who led Leadership NKY for more than a decade, recognizes lifelong contributions to the region.
  • Tom Prewitt, retired from Bricker Graydon Wyatt and a member of Leadership NKY's Class of 1999, will receive the R. Casey Barach Leadership Award for Entrepreneurship, a newer award honoring individuals who have shaped the region's entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Nicole Trimpe, of St. Vincent de Paul Northern Kentucky and Leadership NKY's Class of 2012, will receive the Leadership Volunteer Impact Award for sustained volunteer service in the community.
  • Lindsey Eger Armstrong, a graduate of both Regional Youth Leadership (1999) and Leadership NKY (2008), will receive the Gary Beatrice RYL Leadership Award, which recognizes a volunteer or graduate of the youth program.

All four were nominated by fellow leadership program alumni.

About the programs

Leadership Northern Kentucky has been running since 1979 and has produced more than 1,500 alumni over 47 years. The 10-month program helps established community leaders understand the region's strengths and challenges. Regional Youth Leadership is a seven-month program for high school juniors across Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

The luncheon's presenting sponsor is Citi. Award sponsor is City Wide Facility Solutions, with event sponsors including CVG, Duke Energy, and Scooter Media.
