Lakeside Park residents can order fall mums through the city's annual Adopt-A-Unit fundraiser, which supports deployed military troops through the America Supporting Americans program.

Orders are due by 4 p.m. Sept. 11, according to the city's website. Residents can submit order forms by dropping them off or mailing them to volunteer coordinator Libby Baker at 56 Locust Ave., Lakeside Park, KY 41017.

Pickup is Sept. 15, between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the City Building parking lot, 9 Buttermilk Pike. All orders must be collected that day.

The sale is part of a broader Northern Kentucky tradition. Lakeside Park is one of several Kenton County cities participating in the ASA Adopt-A-Unit program, which pairs communities with military units to provide support during deployments. Fort Mitchell, Fort Wright and Crestview Hills also take part.

Pricing, sizes and color options are listed on the downloadable order form at lakesideparkky.gov. Residents with questions can reach Baker at 859-739-1121.
