Kenton County residents 55 and older can start buying tickets August 3 for the annual Senior Citizens' Fall Harvest, a gathering that has sold out in prior years.
Kenton County Parks & Recreation announced July 22 that the event will take place September 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets cost $10 per person plus tax. Sales run through September 11, or until they're gone.
This year's harvest carries a red, white and blue patriotic theme honoring America's 250th birthday. Attendees are encouraged to wear patriotic attire, according to the county's announcement.
What the ticket includes
Each $10 ticket covers light refreshments, a boxed lunch, live entertainment and a chance at door prizes. The county did not name a specific entertainment act for 2026.
In past years, the Fall Harvest has featured bingo called by local officials, radio station giveaways, a Senior Picnic King and Queen crowning, and a veterans recognition segment. Kenton County Judge/Executive Kris Knochelmann has attended in prior years, welcoming the crowd alongside county commissioners and law enforcement leaders.

The event "tends to sell out quickly, so early registration is encouraged," according to the official county announcement.
