Women in Kenton County preparing for job interviews can get a free professional outfit, shoes and accessories at the Erlanger branch of the Kenton County Public Library on Aug. 12, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Dress for Success Cincinnati, a nonprofit that has provided career attire and coaching to women since 1999, is partnering with the library to bring its Interview Styling Event to 401 Kenton Lands Rd. in Erlanger. The event is open to any woman in a career transition. No income or eligibility requirements apply.

Here's how it works: participants fill out a Style Kit Form before Aug. 12. The nonprofit's Styling Services Manager and volunteer stylists then select interview-appropriate clothing, shoes and accessories matched to each woman's size, style preferences and professional goals. On event day, each registrant picks up a personalized bag ready to go.

No appointment slots. No paperwork at the door.

The library noted in its Aug. 4 blog post that the event is part of its broader support for job seekers. Career Navigator Librarian John Schlipp coordinates the Erlanger branch's year-round career services, which include résumé assistance, interview preparation resources and online learning tools.

Registration details and the Style Kit Form are available through the Kenton County Public Library's website at kentonlibrary.org. For questions, call the Erlanger branch at (859) 962-4000. The branch's drive-through window may be temporarily closed due to construction; visitors needing assistance during construction can call (859) 962-4005.
