The Cincinnati Bengals opened training camp Wednesday, July 29, and fans can watch six practices for free over the next three weeks at the team's downtown Cincinnati facility, a short drive from Northern Kentucky.

Practices at the Kettering Health Practice Fields, located at the corner of Central Avenue and West Pete Rose Way just west of Paycor Stadium, run from 10 a.m. to noon on open days. Gates open at 9:30 a.m. Admission is first-come, first-served with limited capacity, according to the team's official schedule.

Remaining public practice dates

  • Thursday, July 30
  • Monday, August 3
  • Tuesday, August 4
  • Friday, August 7 (stadium practice, see below)
  • Sunday, August 16

Friday night under the lights

The marquee fan event is the Friday Night Stadium Practice inside Paycor Stadium on August 7 at 6 p.m. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. for family-friendly activities and photo opportunities. The practice is free but requires a ticket, available at no cost through the Bengals app since Thursday, July 23. The NFL Clear Bag Policy applies.

What to know before you go

Bleacher seating and standing room line the practice fields, but space fills up. Concessions and Bengals merchandise are available by credit or debit card only. Recommended parking includes Lot A, Lot B, Lot D, and CRG West at posted prices.

Players sign autographs along the sidelines after practice, with different position groups rotating each day.

The Clear Bag Policy is in effect for all practices.

Season ticket members get extra access

Four additional practices are reserved for Season Ticket Members and Waitlist Members:

  • Saturday, August 1 (gates 9:25 a.m., practice 10:10 a.m.–noon)
  • Thursday, August 6 (gates 9:25 a.m., practice 10:10 a.m.–noon)
  • Sunday, August 9, Club Members only (gates 10 a.m., practice 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.)
  • Saturday, August 15 (gates 1:45 p.m., practice 2:30–4:15 p.m.)

The August 1–2 weekend doubles as the NFL's Back Together Weekend, when the Bengals plan to unveil newly renovated club space and host youth football and NFL FLAG programming.

A revamped roster to watch

The Bengals missed the playoffs three straight years before overhauling their defense this offseason. New arrivals include defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence II (acquired from the New York Giants), safety Bryan Cook (a Cincinnati native and two-time Super Bowl champion), outside linebacker Boye Mafe (three years, $60 million), and defensive lineman Jonathan Allen (two years, $25 million), according to WLWT's training camp guide.

"I feel good about the roster ... there's not a glaring issue, so hopefully everyone's gonna go out there and make it fun," executive vice president Katie Blackburn told reporters in June.

Head coach Zac Taylor enters his eighth season. The first preseason game is Thursday, August 13, against the Detroit Lions at Paycor Stadium, and the regular-season opener is Sunday, September 13, at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Schedule changes are posted at bengals.com/camp on the day of each practice.
