Beechwood High School math teacher Dave Meyers is the Fort Mitchell district's September Superintendent Award winner.

Beechwood Independent Schools announced the recognition on Sept. 4, saying Meyers exemplifies professionalism and sets high expectations for students. He teaches Algebra II and Honors Algebra II at the high school.

The Superintendent Award is a monthly honor selected by Superintendent Justin Kaiser. Previous 2025-26 recipients include math teacher Erin Goetz in May, second-grade teacher Hannah Burns in April, Rachel Smith in March, Amie Taphouse in February, Michael Murphy in January and Logan Scisco in December.

The Beechwood Board of Education's next regular meeting is scheduled for Sept. 14, at 6 p.m. in the Teacher Learning Center.
